Mr. Drechsler has been dedicated to Yukon mineral exploration for nearly 20 years. His background working with Strategic Metals, a successful Yukon focused project generator, emphasizes systematic exploration, building shareholder value through discovery, and a long-term approach to junior mining projects with a special focus on early community engagement. His career in the mineral sector began at Teck’s Highland Valley Copper mine where he worked seasonally while earning a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of British Columbia, completed in 2007. Since graduation he has been exploring the Yukon, starting in the field with Archer Cathro & Associates where he built a foundational knowledge of exploration techniques, northern logistics and project execution before joining Strategic Metals Ltd. in 2010, where he gained experience in financing and deal making, rising to VP Communications in 2013. Trifecta Gold was formed in 2017 as a spin-out from Strategic Metals to advance gold-focused exploration targets. Mr. Drechsler has served as a Director of Trifecta since formation, and President and CEO since 2019.
